Center for Independent Healthcare Education (Center) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
ACCME
Center is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Center has achieved the highest level of accreditation Accreditation with Commendation with the term through March 2028. This is the third accreditation cycle for which Center has achieved this prestigious honor. In addition to demonstrating the compliance with core accreditation criteria, Center demonstrated the compliance with the Menu of Commendation Criteria, including addressing public health priorities, promoting team-based education and achieving public and community outcomes. Accreditation with Commendation is awarded to providers that demonstrate compliance in all criteria and the accreditation policies, including the Menu of Criteria for Accreditation with Commendation. With this designation ACCME recognizes the achievements of organizations that advance interprofessional collaborative practice, address public health priorities, create behavioral change and demonstrate the impact of education on healthcare professionals and patients.
ACPE
Center is accredited by the ACPE through June 30, 2025 as a provider of continuing pharmacy education with commendation for: 1) Educational Needs Assessment, 2) Teaching and Learning Methods, 3) Educational Materials, 4) Assessment Feedback, and 5) Evaluation of CPE Activity.
Center for Independent Healthcare Education typically partners with non-accredited educational organizations to provide certified physician, pharmacy and nursing continuing education activities.
